In addition to the role undertaken as Assistant Vice President I now have responsibility the company's asset management function. Including :-
* formulation and implementation of value enhancing strategies.

* Develop new business and maintain existing relationships in a specialized real estate asset manager with a book of Million.
* Deal with institutional clients and increase business with Canadian pension funds.
* Manage expansion of the business in UK and continental Europe.
* Manage internal and external appraisal process.
* Contribute to the due diligence process and asset management
* Market and expand the Toronto satellite office
* Provide experience to assist in the diversification into property development, private wealth and property company business.
* Report directly to President/CEO, including managing overseas business development initiatives
1993 - 2001 Managing Partner :- Cooke Rudling and Company.
Manage all aspects of industrial property sector within the company, including the valuation purchase, sale, letting and management of properties for all types of occupiers and investors - from individuals, business and industry to public utilities, lending institutions and government.
Supervise Landlord and tenant services including dilapidations, insurance disputes, maintenance and service charges rent review and lease renewals for a variety of blue chip corporate, institutional, Local Government and private clients.
Provide strategic property advice to a range of private, corporate and public clients including portfolio advice, restructuring, asset management and disposal.
Co-ordinate Property Taxation appeals including occupiers liabilities and Capital Gains Tax.
Developed specialist areas of appraisal services including, Filling stations, Marinas, Housing Act 1985.
Administer all aspects of staff management - recruiting, training, performance and employee relations.
Investment appraisal, performance measurement and analysis, and decision taking, maximisation of value, pre-funding and brokerage.
Implemented complete re-structuring of IT function including networked bespoke software and Microsoft products.
Designed parameters and functions for bespoke specialist computer software to handle valuation, taxation appeals, housing act reports, brokerage functions and new business generation.
Generated new business for the company in all areas of activity while servicing a substantial case load, attending to the day to day management of the company and supervising the IT function.
Handling of property portfolios to maximise profitability, management, organising services, facilities and programmed maintenance for all types of commercial and residential property. Managed a business numbering 20 people including all staffing and human resources functions.
Provide detailed advice on the design, construction, maintenance, management or repair of proposed or existing buildings
Restructured business improving earnings ratio per employee and implementing comprehensive review of all administration and procedures.

Property development company formed in 1999. Part owned by the partners of Cooke Rudling, focusing on commercial development, including leisure, industrial and trade centres and Residential development including "Loft Style" apartments and new build homes.
Present schemes include mixed use developments in Stafford and Liverpool, and trade centre and retail developments near Birmingham.

Head of Property Agency - Woolley Pritchard & Company, West Bromwich, England.
Responsible for all aspects of commercial brokerage and all industrial property matters. Established a market presence for the company in this sector where there was no representation previously. Introduced a number of substantial investment, development and corporate clients.

Associate Partner - Bulleys Industrial & Commercial
Accountable for all transaction based business, particularly industrial and commercial, asset improvement and property investment brokerage. Assisted in the establishment of a second office in Telford new town. Marketed new build institutional developments with lettings to government bodies, corporate clients and blue chip tenants. Increased turnover from brokerage dramatically

I play rugby, enjoy scuba diving (I am a qualified instructor and teach at the local club). I also have an appreciation of art deco architecture, property restoration and conversion. I have also restored /renovated various cars, boats and motorcycles .
